aroma. It is light yellow in colour and is light in consistency.

It originated in France.
Extraction
Oregano oil is extracted by
the process of steam distillation.
Chemical composition
Carvacrol, thymol, p-cymene, cis-ocimene,
caryophyllene and linalool.

Uses
Research results have showed that volatile oil of Oregano has
considerable inhibitory effects against 25 different genera of
bacteria including animal and plant pathogens, food poisoning and
spoilage bacteria.
Precautions
Oregano essential oil is both a dermal irritant and a mucous
membrane irritant.

Lavender, Rosemary, Bergamot, Chamomile, Cypress,
Cedarwood, Tea tree and Eucalyptus.
